Mental Health Care

Tina offers specialized psychiatric care for mood disorders and is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of adult ADHD. She has extensive experience working with neurodivergent clients and provides thoughtful, evidence-based support in starting, adjusting, or tapering medications to ensure safety and long-term stability.

Many individuals experience brain fog and a worsening of ADHD symptoms during times of hormonal fluctuation — such as perimenopause, postpartum, or throughout the menstrual cycle. Tina is highly attuned to these patterns and can assist with initial ADHD evaluations or optimizing an existing treatment plan.

As a certified menopause practitioner and experienced prescriber of gender-affirming hormone therapy, Tina integrates hormonal care into psychiatric treatment when appropriate, recognizing the powerful connection between hormones, mood, and cognitive function. Together, you’ll develop a personalized treatment plan aligned with your health history, goals, and lived experience.

Areas of focus include:

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Depression

  • Anxiety Disorders

  • Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)

  • Perimenopausal and menopausal mood changes

  • Trauma-related symptoms

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Mood and attention concerns related to hormonal transitions (e.g., postpartum, menstrual cycle, gender-affirming care)

Peri-menopause and Menopause Treatment

Perimenopausal symptoms can begin in the late 30s or early 40s and often impact daily life long before periods stop. While hot flashes are common, symptoms often go far beyond that including mood changes, sleep disruption, joint pain, bone loss, reduced libido, painful sex, brain fog, and memory issues. Hormonal fluctuations during this time can also worsen existing depression, anxiety, or ADHD.

Estrogen therapy may significantly improve quality of life during this transition. Tina has extensive experience prescribing and adjusting hormone therapy and will work with you to find the approach that fits best. Together, you’ll create a personalized plan that may include hormonal and non-hormonal options, along with lifestyle strategies, to help you feel more clear, grounded, and well through midlife and beyond.

Gender Affirming Care

Tired of having to explain your identity or educate your provider about your care needs? You’re not alone. Tina offers expert, personalized gender-affirming care that respects your lived experience. As a queer clinician with over 20 years of experience prescribing hormones, she understands how essential it is to feel seen, safe, and respected.

Hormone therapy is provided using a consent-based model no therapy letter is required to get started. Care is individualized and collaborative, guided by your goals and the pace of change that feels right for you. Whether you’re starting hormone therapy for the first time or refining an existing regimen, Tina provides thoughtful, evidence-informed support grounded in current research and extensive clinical experience.

Each treatment plan is built around your health, priorities, and lived experience. Care is closely monitored and adjusted as needed to ensure both safety and satisfaction.
